Even when there are no new arrivals of great importance, the catalogue Netflix never fails to reserve some good ideas for spending a quiet evening at home: this week too, therefore, we went in search of some titles for you to catch up on thanks to the streaming platform.
Let’s start with a film suitable for the whole family: Puss in Boots 2 received enthusiastic reviews all over the world, even receiving an Oscar nomination for Best Animated Film: it seems like an excellent reason to give the second spin-off on the character played by Antonio Banderas in Shrek a chance (here you find our review of Puss in Boots 2).
So let’s move on to Emily’s Crimes, in which we find an unprecedented dramatic version of Aubrey Plaza struggling with debts and a criminal record who, in order to make ends meet, decides to accept assignments from a gang of credit card cloners. Ours, however, will end up enjoying us more and more and entering truly dangerous turns.
We close with a true classic of action cinema: Taken – I will find you needs no introduction, with Liam Neeson capable of doing anything to save his daughter kidnapped by an organization of human organ traffickers. So what are you waiting for? Hands on the remote control!
