Gemini, Cooking and Lovethe film directed by Jonathan Wright, stars Jeremy Jordan in the double roles of Josh and Julian Northruptwo twin brothers originally from Alaska.
While the former remained in their hometown where he manages the family restaurant left by his late father, the latter, in the hope of becoming a great chef, moved to the big city, where he married his beloved Henri (Callum Blue), and opened a very refined restaurant appreciated by gourmets but not very profitable.
Hoping to establish himself globally and save his restaurant’s finances, Julian entered the annual Escoffier, a world-class chef competition, organized this year by Meg (Jessica Lowndes), daughter of millionaire Preston Wescott, owner of the luxury hotel in Malta where the event will take place.
Victim of a sudden back problem that leaves him in bed, Julian risks missing his big chance. He begs his brother to take part in the competition by pretending to be him.
Between the attraction that arises between Josh and Meg and the machinations of the ruthless French chef Etienne Leduc (Edward De Gaetano) who seems to have sensed the deception, the matter will end up becoming seriously complicated for the two brothers…
