The future of JJ Abrams’ career should pass through a new original science fiction film described as ‘a tribute to Back to the Future’and in these hours the rumors have spoken of Timothée Chalamet as a possible protagonist.
The well-known insider Daniel Richtman, in fact, confirmed the existence of this mysterious project, which has so far remained shrouded in uncertainty: the scooper reported that, based on his sources, JJ Abrams’ Back to the Future-style film is in the works at Warner Brosand that Timothée Chalamet has been chosen as the protagonist: the Wonka and Dune actor, as you know, has signed a new contract with Warner Bros for the creation of new original titles and according to Richtman’s information, JJ Abrams’ film will be the first project to come out of this new partnership.
Furthermore, Richtman always makes it known that Elle Fanning is in talks to co-star in JJ Abrams’ film: it would be a reunion between the actress and the director, who had already worked together at the time of Super 8, and yet another collaboration between Elle Fanning and Timothée Chalamet after A Rainy Day in New York by Woody Allen and A Complete Unknowna musical biopic about Bob Dylan currently in production directed by James Mangold.
