The young man had recently come of age, he had celebrated his 18th birthday on June 25th. Karl Nasr he was born in Lebanon in 2005 but also held a Canadian passport. Often, however, together with his parents, aged 52 and 57, she came to Milan where they had some friends: all three spoke Italian well. On the morning of the accident, the three wanted to go and visit the Museum of Science and Technology. But tragedy stopped everything.
How Karl Nasr died, crushed between a car and a pole
The facts date back to yesterday, Tuesday 1st August around 1.30pm when an Audi RS7 was traveling along Viale Umbria. A Renault arrived from via Colletta: the two cars were involved in a violent head-on collision. After the impact, the Audi overwhelmed the 18-year-old who was walking with his parents. The young man was crushed between the car and a pole.
The 118 alarm was immediately raised. The paramedics who arrived on the spot already understood the dramatic conditions of the 18-year-old. Then the desperate rush to the hospital where the attempts to save his life were useless. The local police are working to reconstruct the dynamics of the accident and possible responsibilities.
