The service will be present every weekend and on holidays from 6 July to 31 December, from 10.00 to 19.00 in the premises of the clinic in Largo Civitavecchia blood donors. At the clinic the citizen will find a General Practitioner who will be able to ensure all those services that are usually provided in the clinic on weekdays.
26 JUN – From Saturday 6 July, District 1 of the ASL Roma 4 is expanding its offering with a new territorial service. This is Ambufest, a direct access primary care clinic, open on holidays and Saturdays, where users with low-intensity illnesses can receive assistance from a General Practitioner. The service will be available every weekend and holiday until 31 December, from 10:00 to 19:00 at the premises of the Consultorio a largo donatori del sangue Civitavecchia.
“This is an important initiative – declared the FF General Director, doctor Roberto Di Cicco – which will help us improve assistance to the population of District 1 even on non-working days. I thank the General Practitioners who chose to join the project by collaborating with the company for a continuity service”.
The primary care clinic is therefore the place where citizens will find assistance like that of all general medicine clinics, but on public holidays, Saturdays and Sundays.
“Being able to have this new service – explained the company Health Director, doctor Simona Ursino – it helps us improve the assistance circuit and will support the emergency room which on weekends is the only health service accessible to the population”.
“The Ambufest – added the Director of District 1, doctor Maria Cristina Serra – will provide local assistance to users on non-working days, guaranteeing primary care thanks to the contribution of General Practitioners who will alternate within the service”.
In fact, at the clinic, the citizen will find a General Practitioner who will be able to ensure all those services that are usually provided in the clinic on weekdays. You may request assistance for insect bites, gastrointestinal disorders, ear infections, various infections and for illness certificates and drug prescriptions.
“It’s a direct access clinic – specified the project coordinator, Dr Mauro Mocci – which ensures assistance on holidays and Saturdays in the same way as your family doctor. We join this initiative precisely to fill the holiday gap and provide continuity of care to our users.”
