Kilos and kilos of drugs sold throughout Lombardy, the Busto Arsizio Police dismantles two groups of drug dealers

A drug ring sold between Varese, Milan, Como, Brescia, Bergamo, Monza and Brianza and Alessandria. The Busto Arsizio Police arrested eleven people this morning, June 25th seriously suspected of the crime of possession and dealing of narcotic substances.

The investigation began months ago, coordinated by the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Busto Arsizio, and allowed dismantle two distinct criminal groupsmade up mostly of citizens of Morocco, dedicated to the importation and “wholesale” sale of significant quantities of cocaine and hashish.

The arrested are accomplices and customers, in turn “retail dealers”, of four suspects who during the investigation were caught with large quantities of drugs and arrested last October: two were arrested in Cairate while trying to move around 60 kg of hashish and cocaine from a warehouse; two others (a German and a Moroccan) in Caponago, in Brianza, they were arrested with around 20 kg of cocainepartly still hidden on an articulated lorry and partly on a car.

The two groups were dismantled thanks to the investigation started from the observation of a group of local pushers, active between Gorla Minore and Cairatewhich emerged from previous investigations carried out by the Commissariat and the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Busto Arsizio.

There are several elements common to the two partnerships: the use of warehouses to store, away from prying eyes, the drugs to be sold (in one case the warehouse in the industrial area of ​​Cairate and in the other an anonymous apartment in Agrate Brianza); the use, to move drug shipments, of one fleet of cars equipped with hiding places activated with hidden mechanisms; there division of tasks between organizerswho “remotely” maintained relationships with customers and suppliers, and executors, who took care of the transport of the drug consignments, their sale and the recovery of the money, thus taking on the risk of being arrested and being rewarded for this with monthly salaries, in one case with the sale of a bar in Milan on favorable terms and with legal assistance after any arrest.

The “commercial network” of drug buyers-dealers was extensive, including several locations in the provinces of Varese, Milan, Como, Brescia, Bergamo, Monza and Brianza and Alessandria.
