German influencer Jannis Danner is an endorser for major fitness companies and has 1.5 million Instagram followers. Together with other German citizens, you have booked a stay at Villa Alceo, a late 19th century residence in Viggiù, in the province of Varese, a stone’s throw from Switzerland. In the video taken by the villa’s surveillance cameras, six people can be seen in the park of the house. One girl films three men dressed in light suits, a fourth in bathing suits, and another girl looking off-camera. In the meantime, two young people are embracing the statue which suddenly breaks and falls into a thousand pieces. The statue was called “Domina” and was the work of the sculptor Enrico Butti. It had a value of 200 thousand euros. Bruno Golferini, manager of the resort, explained today to the Milanese edition of Corriere della Sera that the statue was the emblem of the villa. And that he went to the police to file a complaint. All the people portrayed in the video ended up in the exhibit, together with the film. “I expect compensation for the damage suffered. The loss of that statue is something invaluable,” he says.
