It happened on June 29, 2024 at around 11:30 p.m., when a patrol of the Quattro Castella Carabinieri, carrying out a patrol service, on the orders of the Reggio Emilia Operations Center, went to a street in Montecchio Emilia, as a fight between some people had been reported.

MONTECCHIO EMILIA – He was arguing for trivial reasons with another person, and at the sight of the Quattro Castella carabinieri, who arrived on the scene after being alerted by some passers-by, the man, a 40-year-old, opposed the checks and lashed out against them, and after taking a chair he threw it at one of the workers, so much so as to cause him injuries which were later judged by the doctors to be healable in 5 days respectively.
Reported for resisting a public official
With no small amount of effort, and after a scuffle, the military managed to block the man. For these reasons, with the charges of “Resisting a public official” and “Bodily harm”, the Carabinieri of the Quattro Castella station arrested a 40-year-old, resident in the Reggio Emilia area, detained at the end of the formal procedures at the disposal of the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Reggio Emilia, directed by Prosecutor Calogero Gaetano Paci.

The investigations relating to the proceeding, in the preliminary investigation phase, will continue for the usual investigative investigations for the purpose of evaluations and determinations inherent to the exercise of criminal action.
