The hill above Viale Duca degli Abruzzi, in Montorio al Vomano, has started burning again.
Fire that becomes scary again, with some homes evacuated and with the rescue car, with firefighters, police, volunteers, civil protection and municipal employees at work.
Mayor Fabio Altitonante is in constant contact with the competent authorities and the Municipality has opened the municipal operations centre.
In addition to the ground personnel, the helicopter is present and the Canadair has been activated to put out the flames from above.
The citizens living along the avenue were evacuated as a precaution and a collection point with the distribution of water was activated in Via Piane (near the Lidl).
There are also flames near the SS80 and ANAS is managing the traffic.
