Summer 2024 in Naples will also be full of unmissable events that will enliven the city throughout the month of July. Neapolitans and tourists will have the opportunity to attend numerous events, from concerts to cultural festivals. Below, an overview of the main events taking place in the city.
The main concerts scheduled for July
On July 4th, Walter Ricci will perform at the Ex Nato Base in Bagnoli in viale della Liberazione 1, with special guests such as Joe Barbieri and Karima. On the same date, at the Arena Flegrea, Tony Effe will hold a concert as part of the seventh edition of the Noisy Naples programme. This will be Tony Effe’s only live show in Campania, part of his summer tour produced by Vivo Concerti, where he will present the hits from his new album Icon, certified Gold. Also at the Arena Flegrea, July 11th will be the turn of Coez and Frah Quintalefollowed on July 18 by Aries. Also on July 18th, but in Piazza Centrale, he will perform Gemitaiz. Another highly anticipated event is the concert of Rosary Mirage in Piazza Sanità on July 5, on the occasion of the celebration of San Vincenzo Ferrari (‘O Munacone). This event is part of the project “See Naples and then come back”, promoted by the Department of Tourism and Productive Activities of the Municipality of Naples, which invites tourists and citizens to discover religious festivals as a central element of Neapolitan culture.
Other initiatives not to be missed
Among the initiatives not to be missed, from 1 to 5 July, the Rione Sanità will host the SàFF – Sanità Film Festival, a large event organized as part of the “Welcome to Rione Sanità” billboard. This festival includes a national competition and involves players from the global film and audiovisual industry. Among the films proposed: “Mixed by Erry” by Sydney Sibilia (July 1), “Mimì the prince of darkness” by Brando De Sica (July 3), “Ninetta’s house” by Lina Sastri (4 July), “Jago Into the White” by Luigi Pingitore (5 July). The digital project will also end in July “MetaPan: Art, Museums, Digital”, with the event “Immersive Environments. From futurism to Virtual Art” scheduled on the 4th. This cycle of masterclasses in the metaverse, promoted by the Municipality of Naples, aims to promote the future image of the Pan (Palazzo delle Arti Napoli), making it accessible to the public through a digital platform that allows visitors to immerse themselves in the universe of images with an avatar. Finally, the initiative continues in July “I go around Naples. The city told to children” with appointments every Saturday for children aged 6 and over.
