On Friday 28 June, in the evening, at the Hotel San Giorgio in Civitavecchia, the Bell Ringing of the Lions Club Civitavecchia Porto Traiano took place, excellently conducted by the Club Master of Ceremonies Benedetto Marasà; this event was necessary for the renewal of the positions of our Club for the Lionistic Year 2024/2025.

At the opening, the national anthems of Canada were listened to, in honor of the International President, the European Union and Italy and the Code of Lion Ethics was read. The Lioness Sesta Cherubini, on behalf of the Club Lionesses, handed over to Pietro Messina, President of the Association. Il Ponte, a contribution to the “Le Coccinelle” project, in favor of single mothers in a state of poverty.
Following, greetings from the Mayor of Civitavecchia Marco Piendibene who hoped for collaboration with the Lions Club Civitavecchia Porto Traiano. The outgoing President Sara Fresi thanked all the Club Members for the important results achieved, remembered the deceased member Anna Maria Meoli and the realization of 52 service activities in favor of our Community, with a spirit of friendship and solidarity that distinguish the actions of the Lions. The President of Zone 4A Primula Ferranti thanked all the Clubs of the Zone for the effective collaboration and for the quality of the Services carried out during the Lions year.
Subsequently, President Fresi presented the pin to the incoming President Gianfranco Ciatti, who communicated the service activities in anticipation of the next Lions year, thanking the members in advance for their future cooperation.
