Celtica VdA, all set for the 2024 edition · Metal Hammer Italia

Fans’ anticipation is growing for the 28th edition of the highest international festival of Celtic music, culture and art in Europe. Celtic Aosta Valley presents itself with a 4-day program, from 4 to 7 July, which will take place mainly in Courmayeur-Val Veny, in the centuries-old Peuterey Woodswhere over 150 artists will give life to more than 200 events including concerts and dance workshops, conferences, nature walks, activities for adults and children, an artisan market of 45 artisans, animations by historical groups and engaging flash mobs created with the participation direct from the public.
The Celtica Valle d’Aosta program focused on Val Veny – Courmayeur (AO) will start on Thursday 4 July with concerts and entertainment in the Peuterey Woods starting in the afternoon with some activities and then with the evening concerts preceded by a welcome dinner.
Music will, as always, be the soundtrack of the highest Celtic festival in Europe – awarded last year in Amsterdam, on the occasion of the CeltCast Awardswith the first prize for the Best Location (the Peuterey Woods) and the third prize for the Best Festival – and the artists present confirm their participation, the historic friends of Celtica Valle d’Aosta Vincenzo Zitello, Katia Zunino and Gens d’Ysto which will be added Boira Fusca, the bagpipes and drums of the Celtic Knot Pipes & Drums, Kevin Camus & Yann Gourvill Irish Duo, Compagnia del Coniglio, Village H, Scottish Fish, The Friel Sisters, Calum Stewart, Forzh Penaos and three choir ensembles: the Silver Château Choir, the Black Pen Choir of Aosta and the Louis Cunéaz and Whip Choir of Gressan.

Online pre-sales of discounted tickets closed on June 22nd; 1,752 season tickets were sold which corresponds to 5,575 single tickets (attendance) over the 4 days. Full price tickets will be available from Thursday 4 July at 7.30am, at the Bosco del Peuterey ticket offices.
The numbers on social networks, which have always been a fairly reliable thermometer, confirm the great anticipation for the 28th edition of Celtica Valle d’Aosta: in the last month, the coverage of the official Facebook page has increased by 51%, the coverage of the Instagram profile by 85%. A similar increase has been recorded for followers: to date there are approximately 97,500 on Facebook, over 19,300 on Instagram. Finally, the collaboration with SkyWay Monte Bianco has been renewed again this year, which will offer a 30% discount on the price of the return ticket to Punta Helbronner from 25 June to 14 July to anyone who shows up at the ticket office with a Celtica Valle d’Aosta ticket.
