Tuesday 2 July 2024, at ore 21, a Cremonathe stage of Courtyard Frederick II will see theMiyaji Ensemble coming from Japan, with the participation as director and solo violin of Naoto Sakiya. The ensemble will perform solo works by Sakiya, as well as classical masterpieces by Mozart, Grieg and other composers, representative Japanese animated films and Italian film music, to celebrate the friendship and peace between Italy and Japan. The event is free to enter and seats are limited.
The concert is included in the Cremona Summer Festivalorganized by Chamber of Commerce of Cremonaas part of the Masterclass project, with the collaboration of Municipalities of Cremona and Crema. The Chamber of Commerce has promoted the project with conviction since 2009, with the awareness that music represents a resource for Cremona and its territory to be enhanced also from a tourism point of view. The Cremona area has established itself as “A place to play” for musical organizations from all over the world. After the pause in 2020 and the slow restart in 2021 and 2022, in 2024 the number of expected participants amounts to approximately 2,000 students, musicians, teachers and parents.
