Fabio Martini has died, Cesena entrepreneurs are in mourning

The Cesena business world is in mourning for the death of Fabio Martini, a well-known entrepreneur at the top of the agri-food group of the same name. He had succeeded Cavaliere Ezio Martini as head of the family business which is based in Budrio di Longiano.

For a century, the Martini Group has been one of the main Italian operators in the agri-food sector, operating in the feed sector as well as, in an integrated supply chain, in the pork, chicken and rabbit meat sectors. The leader in the meat and feed sector, with over 100 years of history (started in 1918), is still the Martini family, which holds 100% of the shares. The Group, with its headquarters in Budrio di Longiano, operates with 13 industrial plants of significant size and multiple hubs for the distribution of products. The Martini Group currently has more than 2,500 employees. Martini presides over and controls an entirely Italian integrated supply chain, starting from the breeding and feeding of its animals, up to the table.

Fabio Martini leaves behind his wife Marina, his children Gloria and Nicola, his son-in-law Gianni, his daughter-in-law Meri and his grandchildren.

«The Martini company is an important reality in our territory – states the mayor of Longiano, Mauro Graziano – and employs many employees. On my behalf, and on behalf of the municipal administration that I represent, I offer my condolences to the family for their serious loss.”

The funeral will be held on Monday at 9:30, in the church of Santa Maria Cleofa in Budrio di Longiano. The invitation of the family is: “not flowers but offerings to Caima”.

The body will then be buried in the urban cemetery of Cesena.
