The reconstruction of the accident
The accident occurred around 8pm on the cliff along one side of the panoramic view Salt Valley, known for its rock arch, near Għarb. The Maltese police reported that the driver of the quad, who managed to save himself by reporting only light wounds, lost control of the vehicle, apparently due to a steering problem. And this would have prevented him from changing direction.
