The State Police arrests 2 Albanian crime suspects. A third person was also arrested and found in possession of a gun and over two ounces of cocaine
Perugia, 29 June 2024 – Today, the personnel of the State Police of Perugia, following the complex investigations carried out, proceeded with the arrest of two men of Albanian nationality, respectively born in 1955 and 1990, as suspects in the crime, held responsible for the crime of aggravated sexual violence against a nineteen-year-old from Perugia.
Specifically, the victim, at the end of an evening at a public venue on the outskirts of Perugia, while looking for a ride home, was approached by the 69-year-old who offered to contact a taxi. The man, however, with the excuse of not having his cell phone with him, convinced the woman to follow him to her home, located a few meters from the premises.
Once inside the apartment, the woman noticed the presence of three individuals, including the aforementioned 33-year-old who, together with his accomplice, sexually abused the woman.
The victim, who stated that she had also been forced to use a narcotic substance such as cocaine, then went to the local hospital in Perugia where the “Codice Rosa” protocol was activated.
The woman suffered injuries judged to heal in 20 days.
Following the complaint filed by the victim, the Mobile Squad personnel, coordinated by the Public Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of Perugia, carried out a search of the home where the sexual assault allegedly took place, where they seized a narcotic substance such as cocaine weighing 6.35 g and hashish weighing 17.90 g; a precision scale was also found.

Provincial Scientific Police who proceeded to carry out the findings and find the biological traces attributable to the reported sexual violence.
The search was also extended to a further apartment, used by one of the subjects likely present in the phases of the violence, also an Albanian citizen, born in 2000. The activity gave a positive result. In fact, inside the house over two ounces of narcotic substance such as cocaine were found, 19,530 euros in banknotes of different denominations and a Beretta 765 cal pistol with 5 rounds inside the magazine.
The latter individual was arrested for the crimes of possession for the purpose of trafficking of narcotic substances and illegal possession of a firearm. The 24-year-old, at the end of the ritual activities, was associated, together with the other two subjects, subjected to arrest as a crime suspect, at the Perugia-Capanne district house, at the disposal of the Judicial Authority.
