Il Parma has officially begun its season, the first after returning to Serie A thanks to the victory of the B championship in the season that has just ended. Below is the press release from the ducal club that has disclosed the details of the first day: “First day of work for the yellow and blues who from today have officially begun the 2024/25 sports season.
The pre-season, for today and Tuesday 2nd July, includes an individual and group programme. In the morning, at the Gemini Polyclinic, medical visits were carried out, coordinated by the Parma Calcio medical staff (with Doctor Lorenzo Segrè present), for Wylan Cyprien, Leandro Chichizola, Edoardo Corvi, Antoine Hainaut, Martin Turk, Hernani, Tjas Begić, Antonio Čolak, Gabriel Charpentier, Drissa Camara, Woyo Coulibaly, Simon Sohm and the captain Enrico Delprato; in the afternoon, at the Mutti Training Center in Collecchio, tests were carried out in the gym and on the pitch to complete the medical and physiotherapy assessments, directed by the staff of the Performance & Analytics Area.
The rest of the group will complete the two-day medical and physical tests with the same program on Tuesday, July 2. The players currently engaged with their respective national teams (Dennis Man, Valentin Mihaila and Yordan Osorio) will be absent, as well as those who have completed their commitments (Botond Balogh, Alessandro Circati and Ange-Yoan Bonny).
The first training session is scheduled at the Mutti Training Center in Collecchio on the morning of Wednesday 3 July, while the first collective hug with the Gialloblu fans is scheduled for Saturday 6 July (the start time of the session and the entry procedures will be communicated in the coming days)”.
