Survived by an illness at 53. Farewell to Cesare Pardini, beloved by all

Despite the illness he was diagnosed with last November, his smile never stopped instilling serenity in the many people who knew him and loved him dearly. Closing his eyes, as a last wish, in the warmth of his beloved home in via Salvatori, in Pozzi. Cesare Pardini passed away like this, at only 53 years old, leaving a huge void among his family and the community of Pozzi as well as in the rest of Versilia. Owner of a sole proprietorship for about 25 years, he had been a bricklayer for a long time and his work saw him engaged in every corner of the territory, making him known and appreciated everywhere for his professionalism.

Whenever he could, he also managed to combine his love for his family and his work with his equally strong and heartfelt love for music. Also because it was thanks to this passion that he met his wife Stefania, torn apart by grief together with their two daughters Alessia and Valentina, who are 21 and 25 years old respectively. Cesare, more precisely, was a member of the Riomagno Philharmonic and played both the clarinet and the saxophone. As a boy, he often went to the mountains to play in the open air and it was in Cardoso that he met his future wife, originally from those places. “He was always joyful and festive – his family remembers – and everyone loved him. Despite his illness, he always had a smile. We brought him home because that’s what he wanted. Spending his last days with us gave him more serenity and tranquility. Thanks to everyone who was close to us”. The funeral, organized by “La Piramide”, will be held this morning, leaving the home at 9:45 am and the mass at 10 am at the church of Pozzi, followed by cremation.
