Building on the success of previous editions, Flight&Fun has strengthened its status as an unmissable event for aviation enthusiasts, and the idea arose to broaden the horizon of the event by responding to the needs of the aviation sector and the opportunities connected to it. The four-day program (4-5-6-7 July) of initiatives that will revolve around the Paolucci state civil airport in Pavullo was presented this morning at the Modena headquarters of Confindustria Emilia. Present at the press conference were Riccardo Monti, head of the Environment, safety, energy and territory area of Confindustria Emilia; Roberto Gianaroli, president of Aero Club Pavullo, Maria Costi, provincial councilor; Daniele Cornia, Tourism Councilor of the Municipality of Pavullo; Giuseppe Molinari, president of the Modena Chamber of Commerce; Andrea Dondi, president of Coni Emilia-Romagna. It begins on Thursday 4 July with the arrival of the aircraft and companies for the set-up. Followed by a welcome aperitif dedicated to exhibitors. On Friday 5th and Saturday 6th July there will be space for visits to the stands and a packed program of conferences and meetings which can be followed on the event website: https://www.flightandfun.it/. Sunday 7th, final day, aerobatic shows starting at 12.30, visits to the stands and the restart of the aircraft. This year, in collaboration with Aero Expo Friedrichshafen, a unique opportunity will be offered for industry exhibitors, combining the best of both worlds: the fly-in and rally format of the Flight&Fun event and the global network and prestige by Aero Friedrichshafen. The result is a richer event and experience for both exhibitors and attendees. The strong point of the event is the possibility for pilots to test aircraft directly in the field. This hands-on approach allows exhibitors to demonstrate their aircraft first-hand, creating a more engaging and effective exhibit. It will also be an unmissable opportunity for the public: enthusiasts and non-enthusiasts will in fact be able to access the exhibition areas for free, in direct contact with aircraft and pilots, as well as attending air shows, take-offs and departures accompanied by typical Emilian cuisine, all immersed in a splendid pedestrian green space.
