Rain and hail on Bologna. At around 7pm a violent wave of bad weather hit the Metropolitan City. The disturbance, coming from the north and heading east, affected the capital and several neighboring municipalities. For today the Regional Civil Protection had issued the yellow weather warning precisely in view of possible thunderstorms: “On Monday 1 July, starting from the afternoon, favorable conditions are expected for the development of strong intensity thunderstorms, with possible associated effects and damage, more likely on the northern plain areas and on the coastal strip “, says the ARPAE bulletin. The bad weather also affected other areas of the region. Flooding has also occurred in the Parma area: in particular, between Fidenza and Salsomaggiore is the most critical area.
