The New Way “lands” in Montale di Levanto with a musical event that will take place on July 6th at 9.15 pm with the aim of promoting the support activity towards the missions of the “Luigine” present in the villages in 7 states of the ‘India. For the first time the association leaves the municipal perimeter of La Spezia to offer residents and guests of the Riviera a concert with 17th century Italian music expressed by three prestigious performers: Michela Puca – violin, Marco Montanelli – harpsichord and organ and Emanuele Pugliese – theorbo . The three musicians combine their artistic activity with teaching at the Liceo Musicale Cardarelli in La Spezia. The concert will be hosted in the Parish Church of S. Siro which has a completely restored organ and has the honor of being almost a preview of the patronal events which will take place throughout the month of July. As the poster shows, the “Gruppo Vocale Musica Nova” of Levanto, the diocesan Priory of the Confraternities, the Cinque Terre, Roverano and Vara Sud Lions, with the important patronage of the Municipality of Levanto. To facilitate participation in the concert, a shuttle bus will be available which will leave from Levanto (where via Rimembranza-via Iacopo da Levanto meet, post office area) at 8.45 pm with return at the end of the concert.
