These will therefore be the only distribution points for separate waste collection bags. With the closure of Casa Smeraldo the dedicated telephone number and email address will also be deactivated; For reports or requests for information, the Il Rifiutologo app and the Customer Service are always available on the toll-free number 800 999 500 (for domestic users) or 800 999 700 (for non-domestic users). The new distribution, introduced by the Hera Group at the request of the municipal administration, has the aim of guaranteeing a more widespread service and meeting the needs of citizens, facilitating the collection of bags: the distribution points, implemented periodically, are marked by a specific window sticker. The list can be consulted on the website www.gruppohera.it/associazione/casa/ambiente (in the Collection section in your municipality of Modena) and on the Il Rifiutologo App. The new method of distributing the bags represents a further step forward in the complex process of reorganization of the city’s environmental services, which over time has seen a series of improvement interventions, implemented in collaboration with the municipal administration, to provide citizens with an always more punctual.

An important change that involved over 100 thousand users in a short time, necessary to adapt to the sustainability standards required at a European level: in about a year and a half Modena reached 78% of separate waste collection, almost reaching the objective set by the Emilia-Romagna Region which, for capital cities, foresees 79% by 2027.
