In recent days, the men of the Andria Police Headquarters, coordinated by the Public Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of Trani, carried out a precautionary custody order in prison issued by the investigating judge at the Court of Trani against a forty-three-year-old from Andria held responsible for the crime of domestic abuse and aggravated injury to one’s mother.
The investigative activity revealed the existence of multiple illicit conducts, executing the same criminal plan, aimed at coercing the woman’s will, habitually harming her moral and physical integrity.
In particular, it was ascertained that the man, since 2023, has carried out constant threatening conduct, subjecting his mother to a harassing and violent lifestyle, repeatedly attacking her, both physically and verbally.
With great courage, the woman, after yet another argument that resulted in a physical attack, decided to call the State Police Offices in Via dell’Indipendenza, who sent a patrol car to the scene, which confirmed the habitual nature of the violent behavior and reported it to the Judicial Authority.
The arrested man, after the formal procedures, was transferred to the Trani prison.
It should be noted that the position of the accused is being examined by the AG and he cannot be considered guilty until a final conviction is issued.
