Tragedy in the night in Aversa. A boy aged just 19, Alfonso Lecce, lost his life after a terrible scooter accident.
The accident occurred around 4:00 in via Salvo D’Acquisto, towards viale Olimpico, not far from the sports hall. The boy was riding a motorcycle when, for reasons still being investigated, he hit the chains of a supermarket fence, losing his balance and ending up on the pavement. A very violent impact that left him no escape. Alfonso died instantly. The attempts to rescue the 118 doctors who arrived in the area on board an ambulance were in vain.
Investigations into the dynamics are underway by the Carabinieri of the mobile radio unit of the Aversa territorial group. The first hypothesis is that of an independent accident but investigations are underway to verify whether other vehicles were involved in the accident. The military is examining images from some video surveillance circuits that may have recorded the accident.
Meanwhile, the public prosecutor on duty at the Naples North Prosecutor’s Office, informed of the incident, ordered the seizure of the 19-year-old’s body, which was transferred to the forensic medicine institute in Giugliano in Campania for the autopsy which will be carried out in the next few days. The scooter on which the boy was traveling was also seized for checks.
