It is a prevention activity that has been going on in the Teramo area for some time now and that has had excellent results given the high number of scams that have recently been foiled by the elderly themselves, who are increasingly often victims of false relatives, false lawyers, false gas technicians, false social workers, false ASL employees. And it is precisely to continue this prevention activity that the provincial command of the Carabinieri will continue to meet the elderly throughout the summer in churches, at condominium meetings, and at association headquarters.
«These activities promoted by the provincial commander Colonel Pasquale Saccone will continue without stopping throughout the summer period”, reads a note from the Arma, “in addition, in the most isolated municipalities the commanders of the Carabinieri stations will take care to reach the elderly in order to bring them the proximity of the Arma and at the same time warn them about the risks they may run.
