BUSTO ARSIZIO – For the whole summer the GB Roggia Library will always remain open, with the exception of August 16th and 17th. «This year too, the municipal administration’s effort to guarantee cultural services during the summer is at its maximum – states the deputy mayor and councilor for culture Manuela Maffioli – for some years now our Library has remained open all summerexcept on the August 15th weekend, confirming its role as a cultural hub and point of reference for those staying in the city.”
Library open
Maffioli underlines «the commitment of the staff and an efficient organization which sees only a few small changes in the opening hours of the children’s room. All of this is part of an ongoing process of enhancing and strengthening the services offered to all segments of the public.” The Monaco room and the historical area for adults will observe the usual hours: Monday to Friday from 9 to 18.45; Saturday 9-17.45. From today, July 1st, the kids room it will be open every day from 9am to 2pm. Some books for children and teenagers will however be available in the afternoon in the Sala Monaco. Museums closed in August
As regards museums, the following restrictions are in force from 15 June to 31 July: summer hours. «The Civic Art Collections are open in the evening until 10 pm, to offer citizens an additional opportunity to enjoy the area during cooler hours and at the same time to contribute to the life of the city, in particular of Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II”, continues the deputy mayor. From 1st to 31st August both museums will be closed.
