Since that day, the family has had no news of the girl. However, there have been two sightings since her disappearance: the following Sunday, Camilla was reportedly seen in the university area of Bologna, while on Tuesday she was spotted in via de’ Carracci, near the station. It is therefore not excluded that she may have taken a train to get around.
The family also turned to the lawyer Barbara Iannuccellidell’Penelope Associationand had a photo of the girl released, to collect any other reports.
The reported sightings were crucial in guiding the searches. The authorities have intensified checks in the reported areas and are monitoring train stations in the hope of intercepting further movements of the young woman. The desperate family has launched appeals on social media, asking anyone with information to contact the police immediately.
The community of Pianoro mobilized to support the research and also in Bologna many volunteers offered to help with the distribution of flyers and field research.
