Saturday 6 July 2024 at 8.30pm in the splendid setting of Villa d’Este in Tivoli (RM), the association Families of Angelsin collaboration with the Villa Adriana Institute and Villa d’Este VILLAE, promotes the XVI edition of the free concert “On the Wings of Lightness”This year the concert takes the title “Naples ̴ Rome return”: a journey through the songs of the Neapolitan and Roman tradition
You will be immersed in the pleasant and cheerful atmosphere created by the sounds of the mandolin, guitar, accordion and percussion. The sublime voices of the singers will perform the most famous motifs of the singing traditions in a sort of good-natured comparison between the melodies and poetics of the two cities.
The sopranos, Monica Cucca and Giada Masi, the tenor Delfo Paone and the musicians: Desiree Infascelli – Accordion, Martino Cappelli – mandolin and guitar, Roman Barabakh on percussion, will lead the audience into the heart of the singing tradition of our Bel Paese masterfully accompanied by the choreographies of Davide Giubilei and Martina Patronaggio.
The concert is free, you can access it with the entrance ticket to the Villa. The concert is sponsored free of charge by the Municipality of Tivoli.
