On the occasion of the historic arrival of the “Tour de France”, an event of global importance that will be broadcast on 100 TV channels, 60 of which will be live, the police are mobilized to ensure safety and regulate traffic.

As regards the suspension of traffic on the route, ordered by the provision of the Prefecture of Rimini, from 1pm on Saturday 29 June the roads affected by the race in transit to Perticara, Talamello, Novafeltria, San Leo, Montemaggio, up to the border with the Republic of San Marino (Chiesanuova), will be completely closed to traffic.

As regards the climbs of the hills of San Leo and Montemaggio, for safety reasons in the two sections of the route in question, the ban on the transit of motor vehicles will be brought forward to 9.00 am on Saturday, while still allowing, until 1.00 pm, the passage by bicycle or on foot.

The stretch of the route that from the Dogana Border will reach the finish line on the Di Vittorio seafront, which for the most part will involve the “consular” road SS.72, will be closed to traffic from 2:00 p.m. On the same consular road, in order to impact citizens as little as possible, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., barring different emerging situations, transit will be permitted on the Rimini – San Marino route, with only one crossing point on the route at the intersection with via Amola and via Montecchio which, however, will be closed at 4:00 p.m.

The SS 16 between the roundabout with the SS 72 and the Befane roundabout will be closed from 2pm to 6pm. We recommend using the underpass in via Rodriguez. There will be repercussions on traffic in the seaside area from via Settembrini, via Chiabrera, via Firenze and viale Regina Elena, piazzale Gondar and Lungomare di Vittorio.
