Regarding the law on differentiated autonomy, the president of the Campania Region, Vincenzo De Luca, reiterates that the «Region will ask for its own line, which is that of zero bureaucracy that is, the exact opposite of what was expected, a meeting with the national government to define which matters to decentralize powers towards the region.”
«We said that as far as Campania is concerned the battle is against autonomy but also against bureaucratic swamp – he explained in the live social media broadcast on Friday – we will decide on the topic of de-bureaucratisation what type of relationship to have with the government”.
De Luca, regarding the «exclusive competence of the region» calls into question areas such as «the sixthe internal works at the ports, but also the opinions on environmental matters, the opinions linked to interventions on energy plants”, and then the transfer of competences on the landscape plans to the regions: “We have been speaking with the ministry for the landscape plan for eight years of Campania”.
De Luca also calls for equal conditions with the Northern regions and therefore «prohibited from making supplementary agreements on healthcare and school personnel, same distribution of health resources, same number of medical workers, to prevent the Northern Regions from capturing the national taxes that accrue in those territories”.
