Probable black smoke between Carrarese and Sestri Levante for Filippo Oliana. Neither confirmations nor denials arrive from Piazza Vittorio Veneto, but various sources report that the Ligurians have responded in spades to the formal offer presented by the marble workers for the defender born in 1999. The feeling is that in any case they are working to reach an agreement, which would important both for the Azzurri and for the player himself. It is difficult, in fact, to think that the rossoblu want to shatter the dreams of one of the boys who contributed most to the salvation obtained by the Union in the last Serie C, but that they are trying to maximize the profit from a central defender with great prospects, capable of passing from Serie D of the ’22/’23 season (always with the Sestri shirt) to the possible Serie B.

On the offensive front – given the now imminent signing for the renewal with Avellino of Cosimo Patierno, linked in recent days to the Azzurri -, a new name emerges. It is that of Alberto Spagnoli, a striker currently without a contract due to Ancona’s failure to admit him to the next Serie C. With the Marche team, in the season just ended, the 1994-born player scored 15 goals and provided 7 assists in 36 games, finishing in fourth place in the scorers’ ranking of group B.

The arrival of the former player of, among others, Südtirol, Modena and Ferapisalò, would therefore happen on a free transfer, a fact that has attracted the attention of several teams. The most interested would be Vicenza and Catania, who for their assault on the B are dreaming of a category bomber – Spagnoli has 269 games, 52 goals and 32 assists in Serie C -, but on the list there are also three of the four newly promoted to the cadet series. In addition to Carrarese, Cesena and Mantova are also said to be on the trail of the native of Pordenone, who in the second level of Italian football has never played a minute and who, at almost 30 years of age, could have his last chance to make the jump to the category. In the meantime, the heroes of the promotion continue to enjoy their well-deserved holidays and the honors for the milestone achieved. This time it was Marco Imperiale’s turn, a left back with 130 appearances for the Azzurri (42, with one goal and two assists, in the last season), who in his hometown Partinico, in the province of Palermo, was awarded for “the well-deserved success achieved in sport” by the municipal administration to which the 25-year-old gifted the Carrarese shirt.

Finally, you have until 8pm on Monday 1 July to participate in the online auction for the match shirts worn by the Calabro men for the playoff final with Vicenza at the Stadio dei Marmi. The entire proceeds of the initiative, promoted by Sport for Children Onlus, will be donated to various associations active in the social sector.
