Not long now and the best of Veronese agriculture will land in the Lagoon at the Villaggio Coldiretti in Venice in Riva dei Sette Martiri. From Friday 28 June to Sunday 30, from 9 am to 10 pm (Sunday 9 am to 8 pm), for the first time in Veneto, the great peasant event dedicated to citizens and families will be held where you can taste and buy the best products of Italian agriculture in the 0 km food market and at the street food stands. There are six Veronese companies that will offer their specialties for tasting and sale: Colle d’Oro sul Lago with its oil, Ca’ Verde Bio with milk and dairy products, Girelli Lino and Ernesto with jams and marmalades, Falasco with honey, Casanova and Destrotti with processed foods and baked goods and the Cooperativa di Belfiore with new products based on Verona Apple. During the Village it will also be possible to taste the best 100% Italian food for only 8 euros with menus prepared by farmer chefs from all over the country. Behind the counter we will find the owners of fifteen Veronese agritourisms ready to prepare zero-mile delicacies.
Among the many proposals, there is also the Enoteca del Villaggio which will host many guided tastings dedicated to the best Venetian wines, and naturally the Veronese will be the masters: there are around fifteen wineries from Verona whose wines will be the protagonists of the open workshops to the public.
From Lugana to Amarone, from Bardolino to Soave, during the three days of the event, wines from all the Scaligeri denominations will be presented. For the little ones, there will be an animal farm, pet therapy with donkeys, a maxi educational farm and an agri-kindergarten where children can learn to knead bread or to make a vegetable garden.
