Schlein “caught” at the Radio Italia concert in Naples

Out of the program for Elly Schlein, who last night spent an hour in Piazza del Plebiscito in Naples, where the ‘Radio Italia Live’ concert was scheduled. The secretary of the Democratic Party, who today will participate in a meeting on rights and politics, organized as part of the Naples Pride initiatives, arrived around 9.30 pm, accompanied by the mayor Gaetano Manfredi and the deputy Marco Sarracino, head of the South of the Dem. A surprise visit by Schlein, so much so that the concert organizers were notified only a few minutes before her arrival.

• The Democratic Party deputy took a tour of the stage and backstage area and then moved to the stalls, giving selfies, hugs and handshakes to the many who stopped her. Schlein therefore remained in the city, in view of the meeting scheduled for this afternoon at 5:30 p.m., which will also be attended by the leader of the M5s, Giuseppe Conte, Manfredi himself, Chiara Piccoli of Alfi-Le Maree and Ileana Capurro of the Trans Napoli Association, moderated by the president of Antinoo Arcigay Napoli, Antonello Sannino. The Democratic Party secretary could remain in the Campania capital until Saturday to also participate in the procession that will close the Pride, which will start from Piazza Municipio at 4 p.m.
