Inconveniences and queues in Bergamo, where at dawn today (Friday 28 June), around 4.50am, a pipe broke near the Rondò delle Valli.
Access from Borgo Palazzo closed
The flooding has blocked the stretch of road between that point and the Borgo Palazzo neighborhood, which has been closed to traffic until safety conditions are restored. The Dalmine Fire Department intervened on site to guard the area. As a result, this morning cars are prevented from accessing both the Boccaleone viaduct and Seriate towards the Val Seriana roundabout.

Technicians at work
In the meantime, Uniacque technicians are working to fix the broken pipe, also with the aid of an excavator for operations, while the area is also monitored by the Carabinieri and the local police of Bergamo.
The greatest consequences at the moment are being seen on the Boccaleone viaduct and on the stretch from Seriate towards the capital, with queues and slowdowns, but long queues are also recorded on the interurban axis in the direction of the ring road. Problems also for the residents of Borgo Palazzo, who since this morning have no longer received water at home (or, when it arrives, it arrives mixed with soil).
