ALEXANDRIA – Come back from Friday 12th to Sunday 14th July il International Motorcycle Rally Madonna dei Centauri, now in its 79th edition and scheduled between Alessandria and Castellazzo Bormida. Thousands of enthusiasts are expected to arrive at the former Valfrè barracks. On Radio Gold the words of the councilor John Berroneof the Motoclub president Madonnina Centauri Richard Rivaby the international president of the Motoclub Madonnina dei Centauri Alessandria Fulvio Bianco and the president of the Moto Club Castellazzo Francesco Moratti.
FRIDAY 12 JULY
12.00 – Opening of the meeting area and official FMI registrations. For those registered for the meeting only, it is possible to book participation in the trips organized in the wine-growing areas of Langhe Roero and Monferrato, a UNESCO heritage site.
4:00 PM – Departure for a trip to the municipality of Gavi Ligure with a visit to the Forte di Gavi. Followed by a welcome at the Cantina Produzioni del Gavi.
6:00 pm – (Welcome area Valfrè barracks) – Greeting from the Municipal Administration to the Foreign Delegations of the International Motorcycle Clubs Madonnina dei Centauri: France, Belgium, Spain, Switzerland; followed by delivery of the welcome parchments and baskets with typical local products offered by CIA Alessandria.
8.00 pm – FMI official registrations close, the entrance to the meeting area remains open. Gatherers will be able to find industry exhibitors, food stands and musical entertainment.
SATURDAY 13 JULY
08.00 am – Opening of the meeting area.
09.00 – Official FMI registrations open. For those registered for the rally only, it is possible to book participation in the long and short trip on Saturday.
09.45 am – Gathering and checking of participants in the tourist tour.
10.30 am – Departure for a food and wine/cultural tour in the upper Monferrato and Langa Astigiana, a stop for lunch is planned, included in the cost of the trip, at the municipality of San Giacomo di Rocca Grimalda. Visit to the panoramic site of the Alice Belcolle Belvedere.
12.30pm – Official FMI registrations close.
2.00 pm – Opening of official FMI registrations.
3.30 pm – Departure for the sightseeing tour in the municipality of Rocca Grimalda with aperitif and visit to the Mask Museum and visit to the Medieval Village. Free return to the meeting area.
5.45pm – Return of tourist trips.
6:00 p.m. – Formation of the honor guard with the foreign delegations at the Town Hall of Alessandria and departure of the procession with the Authorities in vehicles made available by the Resicar Group of Alessandria towards Castellazzo Bormida in the direction of the Sanctuary of the BV della Creta Patron of Centaurs. Parade route: exit from Piazza Libertà – Via Pontida – Corso Lamarmora – Corso Cento Cannoni – Piazza Garibaldi – Corso Crimea – Spalto Borgoglio – Viale Brigata Ravenna – Via Carlo Alberto – Corso Acqui – Cabanette – Cantalupo – Castellazzo Bormida.
6.30 pm – In the square of the Sanctuary, reception of the local authorities and foreign delegations and assignment of the Maids of Honor to the First Centaurs of each nation represented; followed by the recitation of the Holy Rosary inside the Sanctuary of the “Madonnina” to remember the Centauri friends who died during the year, presided over by HE Monsignor Guido Gallese; at the end of the function, lighting of the Votive Torch by the Honorary President, which will remain lit until the end of the event.
8.00 pm – FMI official registrations close, entry into the rally area remains open to rallygoers. Followed by food stands inside the gathering area until late in the evening with exhibitors from the sector and musical entertainment. Entertainment also in Castellazzo with the Notte Bianca in the streets of the town with open shops and street food.
SUNDAY 14 JULY
07.30 – Opening of the meeting area.
08.00 am – Opening of official FMI registrations.
08.30 am – Formation of the motorized column with the flags of the Nations and First Centaurs, one for each Nation represented. The column will march from the gathering area to the Bishop’s Palace of Alessandria where it will become a guard of honor for SERMA Mons. Guido Gallese.
09.00 am – Departure of the motorized convoy from the Bishop’s Palace of Alessandria towards the Sanctuary of the BV della Creta: Parade route: exit from Piazza Libertà – Via Pontida – Corso Lamarmora – Corso Cento Cannoni – Piazza Garibaldi – Corso Crimea – Spalto Borgoglio – Viale Brigata Ravenna – Via Carlo Alberto – Corso Acqui – Cabanette – Cantalupo – Castellazzo Bormida.
10.00 am – Celebration of the Holy Mass in the Sanctuary of the BV of Crete Patron Saint of the Centaurs and blessing of the Bishop of the Centaurs Monsignor Gallese to all the motorcyclists present at the rally.
11.00 am – Departure of the procession from Castellazzo B. preceded by the Authorities and the Honorary Committee. Parade route: Castellazzo B, Cantalupo, Cabanette, Corso Acqui, Via C. Alberto, Viale Brigata Ravenna, Corso Borsalino, Gamondio rampart, Via Marengo, Corso Lamarmora, Corso Cento Cannoni, Piazza Garibaldi.
11.45 am – Arrival of the motorized procession in Piazza Garibaldi for the final parade, which will culminate in front of the Authorities stage and outflow of the procession. At the end of the parade, optional entry to the gathering area is free.

2.30 pm – Display of official rankings
3.00 pm – Start of the awards ceremony
