QUINTO (TREVISO) – She died at the age of 41, a few hours before being discharged from hospital, after aoperation to the brain. It is the tragic end of Elena Meneguzzo, of Quintus. The woman passed away on June 26, a week after the delicate surgical procedure she had undergone at Ca ‘Foncello in Treviso.
The operation had gone well, so much so that the 41-year-old was now close to resigning. But just a few hours after returning home she had a sudden collapse, due to a aorta problem. Doctors rushed her to intensive care but there was no way to save her.
The entire community of Quinto was shocked
The news of her death shocked the entire community of Quinto, where Elena was very well known and well liked. An employee of Previnet in Preganziol, she was very active in the parish and in society. He was part of the parish choir of Quinto and that of the nearby parish of San Giuseppe, in Treviso. He leaves behind his mother Giannina and brother Marco. The funeral will be celebrated on Monday July 1st at 10.30am in the church of San Giorgio.
