New asphalt on via Canal Grande in Faenza: changes to traffic flow

For road resurfacing works in via Canal Grandebetween the traffic light intersection of via Bordini/via Costa and the 100 Km del Passatore roundabout, from Monday 1st to 30th July (or in any case until the end of the works) no parking with forced removal and no transit. The entire width of the roadway will be the subject of the intervention. The current wearing course and the part underneath will be removed; new surfaces will then be created, eliminating any depressions, and the new wearing course. As soon as the asphalt is finished, the new horizontal markings will be created.

During the works, given the high number of homes, the staff of the company carrying out the intervention will indicate alternative routes, guarantee access to driveways, pedestrian access and indicate to residents the useful route to reach their homes.

The construction site will be carried out in three phases:
1st PHASE: Semaforo/via Emiliani section
2nd PHASE: Via Emiliani/Via Corbari section
2nd PHASE: Via Corbari/100 km Passatore roundabout section.

For safety reasons, the stretch of Via Canal Grande from the Roundabout to the Traffic Light will be completely closed to vehicular traffic which will be diverted to alternative routes; residents and emergency vehicles are excluded from the ban.
