An initiative – as reported today by the newspaper “The Chronicles” available online – requested by themunicipal administration of Salerno after Busitalia Campania took charge, especially in economic terms, of the dedicated transport service for the Salerno Costa d’Amalfi Airport.
The new service includes, as already anticipated, two trips a day and three things on Saturdays, at times coinciding with flights to/from Salerno Costa d’Amalfi, based on the airport’s schedule with fully covered charges and costs Busitalia Campania.
The company that manages public transport has therefore communicated the need to activate the stopping point in Piazza Veneto, for the departure/arrival of the new dedicated routes to the airport, where the bus may stop shortly before departure (approximately 10 minutes).
The administration confirms that in the context of integrated mobility, it is appropriate to guarantee dedicated shuttles in order to quickly connect the Airport and the Salerno station, where the tourists they will then be able to continue with their itineraries using the sea routes and rail and road connections.
The stopping point will be set up, at the company’s expense, with vertical signage (small type signpost, with company plaque).
