(ANSA) – FANO, JUNE 27 – No apparent repentance but only the concern “not to make their parents suffer anymore”, for unspecified reasons. This is what emerges from the first interrogation given by Luca Ricci, the 50-year-old, who in Fano (Pesaro Urbino) on 24 June killed his father Giuseppe, 75 years old, and his mother Lusia Marconi, 70 years old, in the house in via Fanella 127 where they lived on two different floors. Due to debts not honored by their son, the victims had had to mortgage their house which was sold at auction and in which they continued to live paying rent.

It is the context in which the double crime occurred. In front of the Pesaro prosecutor Maria Letizia Fucci and the police, Ricci then confessed his responsibilities after 16 hours of interrogation: the 50-year-old first strangled his mother Luisa Marconi, 70, while she was measuring her blood pressure in the kitchen; then he went into the bedroom and killed his father Giuseppe with 11 hammer blows to the head who tried to react but to no avail. Tomorrow the hearing to validate Luca Ricci’s arrest will be held in Pesaro in front of the investigating judge Giacomo Gasparini. The double murderer, now imprisoned in the Villa Fastiggi prison in Pesaro, must answer for voluntary multiple homicide aggravated by cruelty. However, the motive remains unknown even if, from the elements collected, it emerged that Luca Ricci continually asked his parents for money. At the time of the police raid, after the discovery of the two bodies, the house was in disarray as if the 50-year-old was obsessively looking for something. (HANDLE). .
