CAFFÈ TOSCANO PIELLE LIVORNO is pleased to announce that it has reached a collaboration agreement, for the 2024/2025 season, with Maurizio Del Testa, born in 1989, 187 cm and 82 kg.
A highly experienced guard, Maurizio split last season between Lux Chieti and Virtus Cassino and before that he played for NPC Rieti (6.71 points average).
A native of Volterra, he spent 10 seasons with the Basket Cecina jersey, 6 of which under the orders of coach Federico Campanella. In the 2016/2017 season he moved to Cassino, a team with which, in the following year, he won promotion to Serie A2 (11.1).
After his experiences in Matera (9.17), Fabriano (7.71) and Omegna (10.07), he accepted the offer from Kienergia Rieti, where, before being confirmed in A2, he scored 9.43 points per game.
A fast-paced defender with an excellent hand beyond the perimeter, Del Testa makes energy and pace his main weapons.

In taking references on Maurizio, the thing that pleased me most is that his former coaches and teammates have exalted his qualities as a team player and a very determined charismatic leadership in the locker room. It is not easy for anyone to have collected so many unanimous consents in such a long career”.

Afterwards he evolved, won, touched the A2 and made his own beautiful journey.
