Yesterday morning, the agents of the police station of Castellammare di Stabiawhile passing through via Lattaro they noticed two cars with two people on board who stopped near a condominium on the same street and, while one of these was parking a vehicle inside the condominium area, the driver of the other car he entered a basement room.
Soon after, the policemen heard a loud flex noise coming from the place in question and, for this reason, they entered, surprising the two who, at their sight, they were trying to escape but, not without difficulty, they were blocked.
Furthermore, since there was reasonable reason to believe that there could be further elements regarding the facts for which they were proceeding, the agents carried out an inspection of the structure, which turned out to be a real “workshop”, where They found numerous parts of cars of different brands and models, also ascertaining that the vehicle with which one of them had been seen entering had already been dismantled and was found to be stolen.
Again, the officers found 3 jammer (frequency jammers), a DVR system (video surveillance system) with two monitors that reproduced the images recorded by three cameras that framed the driveway inside the condominium and a GPS detector.
For these reasons, the two suspects, a 49 year old and a 48 year old, both from Castellammare di Stabia and with police records, were drawn under arrest for money laundering and resisting a public official.
