The prefecture of Florence has ordered the bans for the initial stage of the Tour de France 2024 that will take place on Saturday between Florence and Rimini. The municipalities of the Metropolitan City affected by the transit are Florence, Bagno a Ripoli, Pontassieve, Pelago, Rufina, Dicomano and San Godenzo.

In this regard, as requested by the Police Headquarters, a provision has been adopted pursuant to art. 2 TULL.PS which prohibits:
1) the take-away sale of alcoholic beverages of any strength and any other beverage in glass containers and/or cans in all public establishments and commercial sales activities;
2) the consumption and possession of alcoholic beverages of any strength as well as any other beverage in glass containers and/or cans outside public establishments, facilities and accommodation facilities authorised for the purpose.

3) possession of any type of spray can containing stinging substances.

The scope of application of these prohibitions refers to the areas and according to the timetables indicated below:

a) Municipality of Bagno a Ripoli: Provincial road “SP34” towards Pontassieve, crossing the hamlets of Vallina, Compiobbi and Sieci;
b) Municipality of Pontassieve: State road “SS67” towards Rufina, crossing the hamlets of San Francesco, Selvapiana and Masseto;
c) Municipality of Pelago: State road “SS67”;
d) Municipality of Rufina: State road “SS67” towards Dicomano, crossing the hamlets of Scopeti, Casini and Contea;
e) Municipality of Dicomano: State road “SS67” towards San Godenzo, crossing the hamlet of Carbonile;
f) Municipality of San Godenzo: Provincial road “SP9 ter” towards the “Tre Faggi” border crossing;
