Mahmood: Zero and unique date for Molise and Abruzzo, July 3 Termoli Summer Festival

After having conquered the clubs of Europe with his EUROPEAN TOUR (17 dates in 10 countries, almost all sold out), from 3 July MAHMOOD will be the protagonist of the most evocative Italian summer festivals with the SUMMER TOUR, awaiting the tour in Italian arenas , due to
October 2024.
In the months of July and August MAHMOOD will stop at the main festivals with its SUMMER TOUR, produced by Friends & Partners: first appointment on 3 July at Arena Mare 42° 15° in Termoli (CB) for the Termoli Summer Festival, the only date between Molise and Abruzzo of the tour.

Also released on Friday, June 14th was “RA TA TA”, written by MAHMOOD and produced by Katoo and Madfingerz, it is a story in which images sculpted by the artist’s unique style follow one another. Young people who live a daily life of discomfort, between insults and bad company, in which the typical elements of childhood – games, fruit juice – mix in an oxymoron made of abandonment and difficulty, where the machine-gun mouth that shoots out words in bursts becomes the only weapon to defend oneself from injustice.
The videoclip is directed by Attilio Cusani and MAHMOOD himself, with production by Borotalco.tv in collaboration with +216/Capsul. Filmed in a hot Tunisian summer, its protagonists are boys and girls of all ages who alternate their days between moments of boredom and scenes of aggregation. Trips by scooter and evening gatherings, with the city lights as a backdrop and the hope of being able to create new horizons together.

The summer tour will be the occasion to listen live to this new single and the songs from the album “NEI LETTI DEGLI ALTRI”. In fact, MAHMOOD, accompanied by his trusted band – featuring Francesco Fugazza on guitar, Marcello Grilli on keyboards and Elia Pastori on drums – and backing singers Arya Del Gado and Debora Cesti, will propose a setlist with his most intimate songs such as “COCKTAIL D’AMORE” (gold record), “NEL TUO MARE” and the moving “STELLA CADENTE” up to the more irreverent “NEVE SULLE JORDAN” and “PERSONALE”. There will also be no shortage of less recent successes, which with a dive into the past give us new arrangements of “INUYASHA”, “BRIVIDI”, “RAPIDE” and many others, in addition to the highly anticipated “SOLDI” and “TUTA GOLD”.

The album “NEI LETTI DEGLI ALTRI” was released on all platforms on February 16th and in physical formats on March 8th, with three new songs and two exceptional collaborations: “PERSONALE” with Geolier (gold record), “OVERDOSE” and “SEMPRE/JAMAIS” with Belgian singer Angèle. With more than 355 million streams and certified PLATINUM, it debuted at #1 in FIMI with only digital copies in the week of release, a result also replicated with physical copies, gaining #1 place in the album and CD charts , best-selling vinyls and cassettes of the week. It also ranked #5 on Spotify’s Global Debut Top Albums (weekend 4-6pm
February).

The album contains “TUTA GOLD”, recently certified QUADRUPLE PLATINUM and with over 265 million global streams on all platforms. The song has held the #1 position in the FIMI chart of best-selling singles for three weeks in a row and has also achieved great success abroad: in the week of its release it debuted in the Top 50 Global and conquered the #2 place in the Top Songs Debut Global (9-11 February), in addition to being the #7 most searched text in the world on Genius.
An esteemed author and singer in the Italian and international scene, MAHMOOD currently has 31 platinum records and 8 gold records in Italy, 6 platinum records and 3 gold records abroad and has over 3.5 billion total streams to his credit.

2024 is a year dedicated to live shows for him, in fact after having undertaken the EUROPEAN TOUR, while waiting to start the SUMMER TOUR at the festivals, it will be the turn of the arena tour in autumn: two dates at the Forum in Milan, the 21 (sold out in 24 hours) and 22 October, 25 October at the Nelson Mandela Forum in Florence, 27 October at the Palazzo dello Sport in Rome and 31 October at the Palapartenope in Naples.
