The sixth criminal section of Court of Naples (president Pellecchia, associate judges Daniele and Bottillo) sentenced to three years and three months of imprisonment the brothers Ernesto and Mario Sepe, and their father Giovanni Sepe (all defended by lawyers Davide Fico and Andrea Scardamaglio), arrested for attempted murder of Pasquale Di Dato, stabbed and hammered at the height of an argument that broke out in Herculaneumin the province of Naples, in the late afternoon of 12 August 2023.
The Prosecutor’s Office had requested 12 years and 6 months of imprisonment for the two brothers and 13 years for the father.
According to what was ascertained by the Carabinieri, the defendants, to resolve disagreements triggered by trivial reasons a few days before the attack, decided to confront Di Dato.
The victim came hit with a knife and a hammer and ended up in hospital in Torre Del Greco (Naples) where the doctors diagnosed her with wounds to the chest (inflicted with a knife) and to the head (caused by a hammer). The precautionary measure of house arrest was ordered for the two brothers a few days after the attack, precisely on August 16, 2023. A John Sepe, Instead, the provision was notified on the following 25th November.
