ANPIS Puglia, in collaboration with ODCEC, ASD Norandacity fc (Australia) and other partners, organizes the event entitled “Il Foggiano Nel Mondo” in the city of Foggia: an initiative is scheduled for 28 June 2024 sporting and cultural on the theme of the value of belonging to the native territory and on the promotion of social integration processes of people with psycho-social disadvantages.
THE SENSE. The event involves the participation of people from Foggia residing abroad (and not only), in particular from Australia. The event is enriched by the involvement of local associations and businesses aimed at enhancing the history and heritage of the city, the culture of welcome, acceptance and respect for any form of diversity.
THE PROGRAM. On June 28th we start at 11am with the Welcome Day: the welcoming ceremony of the Australian Delegation, the promoters of the event and the participating entities will take place in the Council Chamber of the Municipality of Foggia. The presence of the mayor Maria Aida Episcopo and the Administration, Local, Religious and Military Authorities is expected. At 12.30 pm guided tour of the historical places of the city of Foggia by the guide Franca Palese.
THE QUADRANGULAR. In the afternoon, at 6 pm, appointment with Solidarity Sport at the “Lucky Park” former FIGC football field (P.za Achille Donato Giannini, 1 Foggia). With the artist Stefano Bucci conducting on the sidelines, as testimonial of the event, accompanied by the music of DJ Filippo Tirella and the presence of artists, journalists, former Foggia glories and local entrepreneurs, a Quadrangular will be played with the following teams : Asd Norandacity fc (Australia), ODCEC Order of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts Foggia, SIAP Italian Union of Police and Stars Members Foggia Calcio (Journalists, Politicians, Local Artists, former football glories). The awards ceremony and cake cutting will follow to see you next year.
