On Wednesday 26 June, the “Word Space” was inaugurated in the Social Services Sector of the Municipality of Padua – via del Carmine 13, intended to welcome and support the boys and girls of our city followed by the territorial Social Service and the Foster Care Center and Family Solidarity. The “Word Space” is a child-friendly space to make room for the words and looks of children, for their visions and dreams to make them increasingly protagonists of the projects that the services activate in their favor. It is a space in which, through tools such as games, colours, books, it is possible to encourage children’s expression and active and profound listening on a relational and family level. Thanks to the donation from LIONS – Padova Antenore, it was possible to make this space beautiful and welcoming.
The president of the Lions Club – Padova Antenore, Nicola Lissi, is satisfied with “the commitment and energy that, over the course of the year, Lions has directed towards the children and vulnerable families of our city. The “Word Space” represents the cornerstone of the guaranteed investment.” The Social Councilor, Margherita Colonnello, thanks Lions Club Padova Antenore “not only for supporting this initiative but also for the donation given to support the activities aimed at promoting foster care and family solidarity, as well as for the purchase of materials and tools, intended for young people who attend the local entertainment centres, spread throughout the city’s neighbourhoods, to support the recreational and socialization activities that take place in these meeting spaces”.
