We wish correct what appeared in the press, relating to the assignment of ‘sails‘ by Legambiente.
Bisceglie doesn’t buy one more sail than last year, on the contrary loses onegoing from four to three.
The award criteria are divided into 5 categories.
Petals: state of conservation of the territory. Our city gets 3 out of 5;
Stars: quality in hospitality. Bisceglie 2 out of 5.
Castle: distinguishes the locations that offer places of historical-cultural interest, museums, etc.
Leaf: municipalities that have proposed sustainable management initiatives.
And finally theWave: Recognition relating to the cleanliness of the sea and beaches and Bisceglie, alas it doesn’t even rank.
We don’t know if the articles appearing in the press are the result of incorrect readings of the data or more or less official press releases but: there are no two different Legambiente, which interpret and above all ‘read the state of the Bisceglie beaches differently. Beyond the unlikely flags, unfortunately we do not believe that our city offers sufficiently clean services, territory, beaches and sea. In fact, we repeat, compared to last year, things have gotten worse.
