We had already announced it during the first contract change meeting, at the beginning of June: for USB, any agreement that would have created unequal treatment among the restaurant workers of the ASL of Taranto would have been unacceptable.

On this assumption, on 21 June 2024 an Addendum to the contract change report was signed between Ladisa srl ​​and USB Lavoro Privato Taranto, which constitutes an integral part thereof, to restore the protection system provided for by the art. 18 of the Workers’ Statute in favor of all hospital catering workers of the ASL of Taranto, remedying the disparity that had been created to the detriment of the workers coming from the outgoing management, in the inaction of CGIL, CISL and UIL.

As far as we are concerned, this is a starting point to standardize the level of protection in the event of illegitimate dismissal applied to all hospital catering workers in the regional territory and on which we have already started discussions with Ladisa.

Now it is time to assert the same determination that led to this result also for the claims on the organization of the service that, net of the understandable initial difficulties, requires urgent corrective interventions by Ladisa which today are being fully taken care of by the workers, demonstrating extraordinary professionalism.
