For the director of Marrc Fabrizio Sudano “It’s a nice initiative, it was certainly something that was desirable perhaps for some time already. We are extremely pleased that it comes now, in this period, in which the Ryanair routes have brought more tourists to Reggio Calabria and in general also to Messina, that the cruises that arrive in Messina can also have an outlet on Reggio, also thinking about the MarRc. . There is a whole museum to discover starting from the marvelous Riace Bronzes, which many still don’t know internationally, moving on to the other splendid collections, to other spaces such as the terrace itself”.

For the councilor Giovanni Latella who followed the project very closely “it is a historic moment, it is the first time that we can make the Strait speak with a single voice, in this case on tourism, trying to enhance our beauties both on the Tyrrhenian side and on the Ionian, but also of the mountains”.

“We wanted to give the best welcome, within the MArRC, to the tour operators who will be present in our metropolitan area from today until Saturday”. Thus the metropolitan mayor of Reggio Calabria, Giuseppe Falcomatà, adding: “These are days that follow that beautiful initiative last Sunday in Messina. Precisely for this reason, I would like to thank the Mayor Federico Basile, the councilor Caruso. For today also our director of the MArRC Fabrizio Sudano, the councilor Latella, the president of Sviprore Michele Rizzo”.

“We often talk about the Integrated Area of the Strait – said the mayor – we talk about a need for concrete synergy and exchanges of good practices between the two sides of the Strait. I believe that not only is the moment as propitious as ever, but I believe that this is a season of institutional dialogue that is already concretely bearing fruit. Because the institutions in the people I mentioned have really achieved this objective in a very short time, with the hard-working involvement of those who are concretely working to make our wonderful realities known to all those who have an interest in investing in our territory”.

“The buyers – he highlighted – will make scheduled tours first in the city and then in the main areas of the metropolitan area, in the full belief that this temporal situation, guaranteed also by arrivals at our airport, must be made the most of, with the commitment of Ryanair and of the Calabria Region, which are bringing many visitors, tourists and of course investors who – he concluded Falconry – have the opportunity to learn more about our reality”.
