The historic Julian club will in fact organize two events of great interest for athletics enthusiasts, but not only. Specifically, on Saturday 29 June the 23rd City of Trieste Meetingwhile to follow, on Sunday 30th, we will have the opportunity to enjoy the Nordic Walking Experienceset in the evocative setting ofMontebello Racecourse. An event that will allow you to learn even more about a phenomenon that is becoming popular throughout the country and which, at the same time, will award the Italian distance titles of the discipline.
Details of the event revealed during this morning’s press conference at the Hippodrome, and presented by Enrico Cimador. “The event focuses on Nord Walking, an activity suitable for everyone and which can also be an alternative to sports. That’s why our motto is ‘no one goes on the bench’. In addition to this, there will also be the 23rd City of Trieste meeting in Campo Cologna, during which you will be able to enjoy all the disciplines of athletics”.
The president of Trieste Atletica Pompeo Triastill visibly satisfied with the success achieved by Bavisela at the beginning of May, wanted to reiterate how Trieste has become “famous in Italy for sporting activities” and how this passion has allowed the local club to maintain relationships, even culminating in a twinning, with Apulian sports realities of Laterza and Molfetta.
Specifically, the two events will follow this format. On Saturday 29th, on the Campo Draghicchio track, the City of Trieste Meeting will be held during which there will be space for all athletics disciplines. While on Sunday 30th, as anticipated, we will start with the Italian Senior/Master distance championship of 5000m meters of Nordic Walking, to then also open up to youth promotional tests, Inclusiv Music Nordic and the fifth stage of the National Nordic Walking Style Circuit.
